WHY WE NEED TO TAKE NOTES? 📝
* Helps us to pay full attention in the class.
* Helps us to improve our memory from STM to LTM.
Helps us to study for upcoming quiz, test and final exam.


WHY WE OUGHT TO REVIEW OUR NOTES ?

·        - To exchange from Short-Term Memory to  Long-Term Memory.
·        - Actually we lost almost 80% of what we hear early in lecture if we not reviewed
        within a few hours. So review notes is important in our life.



WHY WE NEED TO RECAPTURE NOTES AFTER CLASS?

- It better than recopying because at this state you are digesting and rephrasing
  the words.
- It free you up to write in quick, shorthand during class



HOW TO TAKE LECTURE NOTES




PHYSICAL FACTORS

❌ Avoid distraction from doorways and window glare or even peers.
❌ Seat in front or center of the class because it have the better vision and hearing.  


HOW DO WE TAKE NOTES ?

♥ Jot down the date and the subtopics
♥ Use your own language and colorful pen to make it looks interesting
♥ Leave some space to write if there some new information to be add
♥ Use abbreviation and symbols

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?

It is an act of fraud .It involves both stealing someone else’s work and lying about it afterward. Well known as copy and paste someone work without representing the original name.











AVOIDING PLAGIARISM 





o   Avoid procrastination
o   Avoid incomplete understanding of original material
o   Avoid citation errors
o   Avoid poor note-taking








TYPE OF PLAGIARISM

    o Direct plagiarism
          Taking someone else’s work or idea and claming them as your own
          without citation.
    o Self-plagiarism
          It can be tricky and frequently unintentional.
          It occur when you use ideas or phrases from your previous papers or 
          assignments.

    o Mosaic plagiarism // Copy-and-paste plagiarism
          It similar to paraphrasing. It is when you copy and paste different texts,
          adding them together to create a new text.

The final examination result and assessment at the end of every semester are assigned a Grade Point Average (GPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) represent a student’s academic achievement.
